Shaun Tipping is a Wagga Wagga local who joined PRD with a wealth of knowledge of this area. Shaun started life in Collingullie before moving to Freer St, Wagga. He attended Wagga Wagga Public School for all of his primary school years and then St Michaels High School.

Shaun excelled in physical education. He played many team sports including Australian Rules, Rugby League, Water Polo, Basketball, Tennis and Athletics. He is still a keen supporter of these teams and sports today. He now enjoys golf at the Wagga Country Club.

Shaun was fifty-five years old when he became part of the PRD team. As one would expect, his mature age has meant that he brings a wealth of experience and a depth of life long skills and knowledge to the PRD team. His career skills have all developed his ability to empathise, analyse and critically evaluate the importance of demographics and socio economics on how Australian communities live, work and share their leisure time.

Throughout his life he has worked in a variety of industries. He has always had a passion for real estate. This has been a constant and enduring interest which manifested as renovating and gardening his own and the homes of his friends and family. That was the case until he was offered the opportunity to begin his real estate career in earnest, by completing the Assistant Agent accredited course as part of the Certificate IV in Real Estate.

This opportunity then led him to PRD whereby he applied and then was asked to join our dynamic and experienced sales team.

Shaun’s real estate career is beginning at an exciting chapter in our industry. There have been significant reforms, which in turn reassure property buyers and sellers, in a more ethical and regulated way of practice.

Shaun has observed, “I have been very fortunate to start my career in real estate at a time where there have been a lot of reforms in the industry.” He elaborates by saying, “My skills and knowledge of ethics, the law and integrity which I applied during my career as a NSW Police Officer, are highly relevant to my career in real estate and the reform process that is happening within this industry.”
